About the Role
Domino’s Pizza in Waterford is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team at Unit 3 Newtown Rd. This role is pivotal to the ongoing success of our Shorecal operation, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences while developing your managerial career within the catering and hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve high standards of customer service, quality and hygiene.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Manage stock levels, monitor inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Drive sales growth by implementing promotional activities and maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming store environment in accordance with Domino’s standards.
- Support store financial management including cash handling, banking and cost control.
- Ensure all operational procedures and quality standards are consistently met.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the catering and hospitality industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Good numeracy skills and experience handling cash and stock management.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- A relevant qualification in hospitality management or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
